@RacingRT1 I’m sure being able to put upgraded shocks and transmissions/ engines are allowed. Like getting most of them on an SB2 style platform. Obviously control arms have to stay the same but I’m just spitballing without looking at rules. Probably giving older cars a weight break too

@peppertree123 @WillFlandersWI @mikejoy500 Extreme nerd talk buttt. The trackage that runs beside the track only sees about 2-4 trains a day maximum. The ones that would run around the time of the cup race tend to run in the middle of the night or midday ish. I go every year and you get a train or two every weekend

@BigMikeGwood12 @Di9Fans @NASCAR I think personally there is a lot of things that getting this car to do is like squeezing grape juice from a raisin. I don’t think taking the diffuser off helped. The softer tire/750HP. helped some but really only just made it to where it was some noticeable passing at the end

@BigMikeGwood12 @Di9Fans @NASCAR One thing that ruined martinsville imo is the big brakes on this car eliminating brake fade and lunging on entry. Even when they do lunge now someone will just pile drive the other guy and they just awkwardly slide up 1/2 a lane and usually keep their position. Moving Someone: ❌

@BigMikeGwood12 @Di9Fans @NASCAR As some one who has attended every cup race at martinsville since 2018. The Gen7 races have been massive snooze fests. Punctuated by a few cool things like the wall ride. The Gen 6 races tended to have more action throughout the field.

@ShaneMundy45 I personally hate the big wheels and fender flares from a side profile. The Chevrolet body looks too wide for this car. It just looks excessively bulbous in every proportion. The ford and somewhat Toyota bodies kinda overcome this.

@WhoisSkid But this is what happens when you have a series basically built on selling rides to bad/mid tier drivers for 30-100k. Stuff just gets destroyed. As soon as the 7 slid back up I knew what was going to happen. 7 car is obliterated for sure. Probably tore the truck arms out

@WhoisSkid Braking at all is what got the 75 into that one. 7 probably couldn’t have done much to not collect back up the track unless he floored it MAYBE. 75 stabs the brake as hard as he can and loses it. You get on the brakes enough to slow down, you don’t lock them until yk ur hitting

@TheCatchFence So I’ve heard there is actually a carbon copy of martinsville in Alabama. They are sister tracks, but this one just does a local series deal and is in need of a repave probably

@S1apSh0es Trevor is a pretty timid guy if you don’t know him outside the car. So I find this pretty amusing. I was going to go speak to my grandpa after winning my race and was waiting for the late models to wrap up and saw the whole thing from the same POV as the camera
