This weekend, our family had the incredible opportunity to attend the Indy 500. The patriotism on display was absolutely electric. From the powerful songs and the thunderous F-16 flyover, to the Black Hawk pace lap and the stirring America 250 performance, you could feel the national pride throughout the stadium of 350,000 people — the equivalent of 10 Super Bowl stadiums packed together!

We are so blessed to call America home. I hope you’re enjoying this long weekend with family and friends, cherishing the freedoms we hold dear.

But let us also remember that these freedoms came at a steep price — and still do.

This weekend, we honor the lives given in defense of our country. We pray for the Gold Star families who carry the ache of their loss every single day.
