Could have taken literally 30 seconds out of his day to make these kids day at the open a bit more special. What a great role model Tiger Woods is for golf..
That is the single worse St Mirren performance I’ve ever witnessed. The players and management should be utterly ashamed of that level of effort. A must win game at such a crucial time and that is what they produce. An absolute embarrassment that
@saintmirrenfc I am sorry but have to disagree, having possession due to playing endless passes around the back 4 and goalie is simply not a positive to take. Can have all the possession in that area you want but with no creativity or forward thinking mentality it means absolutely nothing
There’s absolutely no way we avoid the playoffs now. This team are scarily bad. Mcleish is so far out his depth it’s not even funny. 84 mins of 1 up top and passing it around the back before eventually bringing on another striker when the game is already gone. Absolutely hopeless
There were under 10,000 St Mirren fans at the semi final today. Outnumbered by 4:1, by Celtic fans, and @NCCeltic still managed to embarrass themselves by attacking St Mirren fan coaches.
Families who wanted to just go to a football match. Dads, mums their weans.
Shameful.

Genuinely don’t think you will find a worse set of fans going than hearts. Not a peep out of them until they were leading, silence again when it went 2-2. And subsequent boo’s when the full time whistle goes. If there is ever a fan base that deserves to lose this league it’s them
Unbelievable from the team today! Night and day performance compared to what we have seen in the last few months. Ayunga is such an important player to this team, so glad to have him back! We need to take this into parkhead next weekend! Let’s get a massive support there
@cjharvey_@afinebalance43@nialltodd82@MotherwellFC But 1 think I can absolutely guarantee is that the Motherwell manager will make sure his players, particularly Slattery don’t do it again, which is the whole point of this. If harsh punishments will make players think twice about doing it, then I am absolutely all for it
@cjharvey_@afinebalance43@nialltodd82@MotherwellFC Absolutely not disagreeing with you there. That was a bad tackle and he should have got more. But blatant cheating needs to be punished tho, currently in SFA rules they can only retrospectively ban if simulation leads to substantial advantage as in this case.
@afinebalance43@cjharvey_@nialltodd82@MotherwellFC I just feel that players don’t really care about yellows, it means nothing. However if they know that diving or cheating in some way to gain a clear advantage, eg red card, penalty etc, will possibly result in a 2 game suspension then they may think twice.
@cjharvey_@nialltodd82@MotherwellFC It a hard one as an in game yellow card for diving isnt a deterrent, why individuals like Slattery do it. If on review post game cheating has given a team a big advantage in this very specific way then they should be punished. It’s an isolated scenario as it wasn’t seen in game
@afinebalance43@cjharvey_@nialltodd82@MotherwellFC Agreed, it’s a tough one as in game diving is currently only a yellow, but I don’t feel that is a huge deterrent which is why players like Slattery do it. However a subsequent 2 match ban for absolutely blatant cheating that was overlooked at the time could be a good deterrent
@cjharvey_@nialltodd82@MotherwellFC There is clear contact on Baccus which wasn’t deemed violent conduct at the time (went to VAR during the game). Quite frankly it sets a good precedent, blatant cheating which has big impacts on games needs to be addressed. You only feel aggrieved as it’s your team thats affected
