After months of prayer due to coaching changes at SC State, I have decided to reopen my recruitment. I appreciate the former coaching staff for believing in my abilities and I am confident my story is still being written.. My DM’s are open immediately. #GodsPlan
As September 1st approaches, I’m filled with so many emotions: joy, excitement, anxiousness, stress, curiosity, and, more than anything, gratitude. I first picked up a bat when I was four years old, and I wouldn’t change the journey since that day for the whole world. As my recruiting process starts, I’m reminded of all the reasons I love the game, but more importantly, all of the people who grew my love for the game. My mom and dad have given me their unwavering support from the very first day to now, spending countless hours of their days helping me grow in my sport.
In Jeremiah 29:11 it says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The next few days, I’m holding this verse close to my heart and clinging to the Cross, knowing that Jesus is the only reason I am where I am today. I’m also remembering that tomorrow is the first day of my recruiting process, not the last, and what a privilege it is to get to experience that.
Thank you to all of my coaches and all of the college coaches who have given me their time to make me better. I’m praying for all of my fellow 2027s as their recruiting process starts, and I know that God has a perfect plan for everyone! God is good, all the time. @ScGenovese@NCSA_Softball@NCSACoachDaily
