HMRC will send 17 letters, 4 texts, a carrier pigeon and the Mexican cartel to chase Dave from Manchester for underpaying £3.76 in tax.
But a firm linked to Michelle Mone can owe £39m (on top of the £122m already owed) can swan off to Miami and live their best lives with zero criminal liability.....
One rule for the rich and another for the poor.
Is your MP member @loanchargeAPPG, one of largest APPG's ever? If not, please ask them to join.
With shocking revelation that companies settled for 15%, #LoanChargeScandal injustice clear.
Thank you @ThomasMorrison & all others who joined recently.

Will @Keir_Starmer do something about the Loan Charge injustice and will he like previous leaders turn a blind eye and let voters be bullied and forced to settle under duress, go bankrupt or commit suicide? Let see which kind of leader he really is @IainDale
"It’s hard to argue with the point made by Mr Smith. When it comes to taxation, surely individuals should be treated in the same manner as large corporations? Isn’t that a fundamental principle of justice?" My @yorkshirepost commentary - coming soon! #loancharge@loanchargeAPPG
Exclusive from me & @FayeBrownSky: Four more people affected by the controversial HMRC crackdown known as the "loan charge" have tried to take their own lives in the past 18 months. It comes as MPs criticise the govt's review on the policy as a "betrayal" https://t.co/CiRJ6dsvFZ
I’ve been shown a message of someone who says they ‘see no point in carrying on’ having seen the announcement of the sham non-review of the #LoanCharge by the Govt.
Awful the way that Ministers will cover up the history of this issue, knowing the danger.
#LoanChargeScandal
Today’s thoroughly dishonest announcement by the Treasury, with Ministers who’d committed to a new independent review of the #LoanCharge, then announcing something that excludes reviewing the Loan Charge, is shameful. Lives at stake here. This is why people despair of Government
@Browne_Anthony_@MelJStride He has suicides under his watch, preferring to promote his career than to stop out of control HMRC on the loan charge, a nasty piece of work he is
@carolvorders Hope they will also ensure that those forced to pay under duress get some money back. I declared my loans to HMRC, have FOI proof they knew my use and still treated me like a criminal
@HMRCgovuk Why HMRC did not warn me many years ago when I declared a loan promoter in my self assessment and they only came back years later with the loan charge? You failed your duty of care and did not do your job.
@HMRCgovuk This post is so misleading, HMRC will not help to exit, they will treat you as a criminal and will not even offer a fair settlement. Wait, unless you are a Big 4 or a £bn corporate in that case you only pay a % of what HMRC ask for, they close their eyes.
We’ve got an awful govt and a dormant opposition. The Lib Dems need to sharpen up and fill the void. This my article published in newspaper @CityAM https://t.co/MkbeacaqDQ
