@SinclairDenny@TanyaHein It is not recommended to use cruise control on city streets for a number of reasons nor is it to be watching the speedometer when one should be constantly scanning their surroundings while operating a ton + moving vehicle. Ergo a 1-5 kms grace is a reasonable expectation.
@John16180339887@JoshuaSealy A big part of 'unhelpable' is that their consent to be helped is not forthcoming. You cannot force someone to go to a shelter, accept treatment medical or otherwise. If we can help those who want it, that should be the focus. We will never be homelessness free.
@BizOptimizeGuy@JCHIANELLO Now share a pic of winter stuff. Not saying we can't do it... but it will cost $ we don't have budgeted for it yet. Open the damn road and revisit it in 1 yr.
@laine_johnson1 David Hill and staff are going door to door in the affected areas to help/check in.
Also, staff will work with you to open Pinecrest Rec. ..like when Derecho hit. Chiarelli's team had to do that because ward 8 was overlooked.
@DaveBikeSki@RickChiarelli How is it car centric when the sidewalks were cleared first?
FtR, shoveling it back into the road guarantees that it will be plowed back onto the sidewalk if it doesn't melt. Perhaps you are part of the problem.
@HorizonOttawa @michaelwbuettel So the nominating committee is comprised of Councillors with at least some experience. I would expect no less. They are in a better position to make recommendations based on that experience, as mentors. Menard made a motion but not on his own behalf? His plate is clearly full.
