@maxfawcett You forgot to mention that Canada's population grew 16% over that time period, far more than other countries, (and yes that's a Trudeau issue with immigration) which heavily skews GDP growth per capita as opposed to gross GDP growth.

@acoyne Chretien found a way to work with and respect Paul Martin. It enabled him to unify two dispirit views of what the party should be (at that time). Trudeau has now effectively lost the confidence of his most significant faction that's not his own. The writing is on the wall.

@Timodc Hunter had his deal with the DoJ and Republicans trashed it because they wanted to punish him for his surname, not his crimes. It would be unconscionable for a father to watch that happen and do nothing. If his day in court had any chance of being fair it'd be different.

@RadioFreeTom Nearly 50% chose emotions over what's good for the country. Those rising to power on the backs of that are looking to punish the son for the sins of the father. No justice, just revenge & destruction. It would be unconscionable to watch that happen when it could be stopped.
