As the day closes, I offer my thanks to the people of Sheffield who opened their doors to us. No mobile phones in 89, they let us use their landlines to ring home, they didn't want our money but we left plenty. Our only way of saying thanks as we let our parents know we were "ok"

Rotherham, England replaced 8 miles of mowed grass with wildflowers.

They saved £25,000 in mowing costs a year and bees, butterflies, and birds showed up almost immediately.

You don’t need to wait for your city to act. Start small in your own patch:

🌻 Toss a few native wildflower seed balls into neglected spots

🌱 Stop mowing one strip and see what shows up

For years, the Post Office and Fujitsu covered up the bugs in their faulty Horizon computer software, blaming the subpostmasters using it.

Thousands had their lives ruined. Some took their own lives.

Now Channel 4 News has obtained a 2006 contract between the two companies - overlooked despite being uploaded to the Post Office Inquiry's website - which a forensic accountant who investigated the Horizon scandal has described as "dynamite".
