@rachelburden@rickedwards1@bbc5live I think the key thing is children being able to read written words. If audiobooks help then great. My son was an avid reader until 12 and then stopped. Aged 22 he started again and is now regular reader aged 26. But he could read being key.
Sounds like we made the right call to avoid the County-Doncaster game and instead enjoy @ChepstowTownAFC winning in glorious sunshine. ☀️⚽️🍺
Thoughts on County's game from those who were watching? We'll record an episode tomorrow and try to feature your insights.

@rachelburden@bbc5live The brightness is not the issue for me. It is the angle of the beam. They need to be aimed lower and this new angle should be part of the MOT test too. It is like driving at an older car on full beam. Those of us of a certain vintage - “Don’t dazzle dip your headlights”.
@rachelburden@bbc5live I work as a pastoral leader in a secondary school and evening and weekend work is the only way to stay on top of teaching marking and assessing alongside the well-being, attendance and behaviour. An extra 15-20 hours a week on top of the school day is not unusual (not £ extra).

Re 11.20 No Ball Post. I was once on 46 and got a no ball call from the umpire, for this, in a village game in about 1998 for Shurdington Vs Ullenwood. I went on to get a ton and we posted 275-4 off 45. We lost by 9 wickets!! Decent umpire!
@drewburrett If your not ill get out and about. So so many people have multiple symptoms but won’t pay for tests so don’t know they’re positive. Not irresponsible just realistic now we are living with it.
So proud of my wife and her friends in LooCrew F4 for their efforts but also spreading the @WaterAidUK message. Even in the rain she improvised a coat! Inspired by her mum my daughter wants to get involved and hopes, after a no this year itll be a yes next year. #canavanloocrew
