It’s been slow conbustion with an inevitable outcome. Fire started in 2008, refuelled in 2012, fired (pun intended) those who demonstrated that it was wanted and brought it back at start of 2024 and now extinguished in 2025.

Now time for “The Canberra School of Music” to return

[NTEU ACT @NTEUACT]

Congratulations to the many @SoM_ANU students who came along to support Tor and David - I know your solidarity meant a lot! ✊

Sad to hear news of Bill Hawkey’s passing. Bill was Director of the Canberra School of Music when I first started teaching there 23 years ago. He was a good man and continued to contribute greatly to his South Coast community throughout his retirement

What a fantastic concert last night! Absolutely divine performances from both Julian and Bernadette, and great to such beautiful Australian compositions.

Loved performing Rodrigo’s Concierto Madrigal with Callum Henshaw and the National Capital Orchestra earlier this year, conducted by Leonard Weiss.
