🚨 New study shows black women living in England are more likely to be diagnosed with late stage cancer 🚨

The later a cancer is diagnosed, the more difficult it is to receive successful treatment.

This reinforces why our mission is so important.

The pilot project is underway across four intensive care units to improve hair and skin care for patients from diverse backgrounds. We are incredibly excited to watch them progress.

🚨Figures released today show the number of cancers diagnosed at stages 1 and 2 in the most deprived areas (47%) of England is much lower than those caught early in the least deprived areas (53%).

We are working to try and reduce this fatal difference.

BAME communities face a number of unique factors that complicate attitudes towards cancer.

Talk to your GP if you're worried about lung cancer, the earlier you are diagnosed the better and your GP can let you know what treatments are better suited to you 👨‍⚕️
