@SLASHY_ssb We had a famous meth head bring a katana and wear it on his hip the whole tournament. When I, parents, and others told the TO, we were all told not to worry about it and that he normally would place Top 3.
@OathToAwesome This is the same as banning a known meth head that drops hard Rs and brings a sword to locals.
I couldn't believe it was acceptable. I was more shocked when it was intentionality invited.
It's really hard to make change.
@CadenRohan My brother in Christ. They stuck it to a window above the parking lot. Can you imagine looking up and seeing a dude having the time of his life from that angle?
@OathToAwesome When you have less pieces on the board, it's likely there is a best move or two. For example, every position with 7 or less pieces on the board has been solved. But for early/mid game strategy, grand masters can do just fine.
@OathToAwesome To answer the second part, Magnus has had several instances where he used Stockfish to help prep for a position, got to exactly what he prepped for, and then deviated from it. Stockfish said his move was not the best... until it evaluated it for several minutes.
@griftographer@NeXJ9@PickledJean@shlkuuz Your first comment in this thread is about the weird debate and how that only happens with edgy teenagers with limited social skills.
