Irish group Kneecap traveled to Cuba as part of a humanitarian mission and witnessed a nationwide blackout while in Havana. The group denounced the U.S. economic war on the island. "It's not in our nature as Irish people to witness injustice anywhere in the world and stay silent”
Props to @CNN's @Elex_Michaelson for having @hasanthehun on and letting him speak in his own voice, his own words, rather than ventriloquized or quoted out of context by pro-Israel politicians and pundits.
Reuters confirms why I’ve been saying: the U.S. has been allowing fuel in to Cuban private businesses like foreign-operated hotels but barring it from hospitals and other publicly run institutions.
I’m sure that the NYT and The Free Press, which produced entire articles about Hasan Piker’s hotel, will do a follow up now

Yesterday, I spoke at a rally with leaders on the front lines of the movement for reproductive freedom and liberty.
This is a moment that requires each of us to stand up and fight for the rights of all people. Because when we fight, we win.
As we keep pushing for the #EqualRightsAmendment, we recognize those who championed the ERA before us:
—Shirley Chisholm
—Martha Griffiths
—Alice Paul
—Crystal Eastman
—Barbara Jordan
—@RepSpeier
—@CarolynBMaloney
—& so many more
We need the #ERANow.

100 years ago, the ERA was 1st introduced.
It's way past time for women, LGBTQ+ people, and all of us to be written directly into the U.S. Constitution. #ERANow
I was honored to join @tanuja822 & @GretchenCarlson at last night's panel on my bill (now law) to #EndForcedArbitration for sexual assault & harassment. We got this bipartisan bill over the finish line, so survivors get their day in court - thank you, @WBADC, for hosting us!
