I know I normally don't make posts like that, let alone posts in general, but Jesus Christ. I'm fucking tired of seeing that word in every discussion in regards to transitioning or the mere fact that someone is trans despite transgender ≠ guarantee surgery.
the last time you saw someone use "mutilation" in reference to nose jobs, tattoos, molar removal, or removing/replacing an organ??? Those are all things that change the body in some way too. But, whatever.
Is there a way to reclaim the word "mutilation" to be a positive word for gender affirming surgery because I'm tired of people using it in a way that's harmful.
