@jonjohnson I am seeing this frequently on the boys side as well. Fear of using other body parts? I say if they can control tight, should we be forcing the method?
@jonjohnson Thinking that they are 'your' player is flawed in the first instance. Like a teacher, a coach's job is to move the players on to the next level. Player led approach should be non-negotiable.

@OJHitch@jonjohnson Been using for a while now, I like it for the app capability. No animation does hurt and there is pay-wall that prevents me sharing with assistant coaches. Probably better optuons out there now, but I have invested 5 years of data into it now.

@jonjohnson Once had a parent ask me why I don't bark instructions from the sidelines. Wish I had this back then. Told them my job is done during the week.
@jonjohnson I would also add not enough of the right volunteers. Too many examples of technically astute people who coach, but have no business being around kids.
"What does diversity and inclusion mean to you and your players?"
โEveryone is respected and included, with a vital part to play in the teams' journey. Each player is recognized, supported and encouraged to be the best that they can be.โ - Ian Knight
@_ToddBeane I played one year as a 13 yr old in Div 2. Started coaching u6's 9 years ago and coaching all the way up to u15 now. I had to start with clean slate, I have no same old. I feel like it made me a better coach since I have work harder for it.
