To add to my previous post, I am not defending the two Vietnamese pro players—unfair gameplay should be punished. However, the issue here is that there are loopholes within the rules.

The PUBG Vietnam official posted an apology to the Vietnamese players for the miscommunication and then quickly deleted it, and the organizer only updated the rules after the incident! This means the Vietnamese players had actually asked for permission. If they knew it was cheating, why would they do it without hesitation and just for fun? One of them is a world champion, after all; would they cheat at that level? If they had a cheating mindset, would they still have followers and be allowed to join the All-Star tournament? They got permission. If the rulebooks had been clear, they wouldn't have done it, especially since they have been in professional tournaments before.

What disgusts me here is that the Korean streamer, instead of handling this without triggering and unnecessarily escalating the issue, posted a video accusing the two players without any investigation. Furthermore, Krafton has shown no accountability, choosing instead to shift the blame entirely onto the Vietnamese players. As a result, Korean netizens just assume that all Vietnamese players cheat and look down on others, instead of looking into the actual circumstances. Honestly, who cheats so openly? It's frustrating when Koreans immediately assume the worst and look down on others. Disgusting.

2025: Tried to withhold over $200K from Unknown Worlds over a deal, but lost the lawsuit.

2026: Banned 2 top-tier players from a 4fun tournament over a rule that didn’t even exist.

Looking at everything that has happened in the past, I don’t think this is just a coincidence 🤏 🤏
