From 1981-2025, the media changed but AC’s love for A&M and dedication to our athletes did not.

AC and his team were responsible in promoting Johnny Manziel’s chances for the Heisman, making him the first freshman to win the trophy. 🏆

Cannon was inducted into the College Sports Information Directors of America in 2014 and in 2018 received the Arch Ward Award. 🏅

Thank you AC for your hard work and dedication to Texas A&M Athletics!

He won’t be gone for long, though! He will serve in a part-time role as the assistant to the AD and historian on Coach Elko’s staff.
