Lamar's a great example of why it's hard to draw sweeping conclusions on QBs based on a handful of games.

All of the following are true at once:

Lamar has generally been markedly worse in the playoffs in his career.
Lamar played at an MVP level this season
Lamar made 2 crucial turnovers vs BUF
Lamar also got the team back to a game-tying situation and threw the pass that should have tied it up deep in Q4.

If Mark Andrews catches that pass, Lamar orchestrated an impressive comeback against an elite team. Cos Andrews drops it, Lamar fails in the playoffs once again and we focus on his turnovers.

And the big fumble started with a bad snap.

That's basically 5 snaps in the entire game he'd like to have back. That's a lot of high-level QB play but people will still kill him for this game.

I crushed him for the past losses for good reason. Not doing it for this one just because the outcome was another loss.

This was different. He made up for his mistakes.
