Meet Cape Fear Devs.
Playful games, handy apps, and the occasional strange idea. Expect puzzle moments, useful little tools, and peeks at things taking shape.
Small apps. Strange magic.

@playkergames One button, two instincts: chase the multiplier or remember you need wheels underneath you. A near-miss landing replay could be wonderfully cruel. “You were this close” is powerful arcade fuel.
@b4n92uid Teleportation with a visible route is a neat way to teach where two spaces connect. Do you keep the full animation on quick retries, or shorten it once the player has seen that jump?
@ArcticMM Inventory management should not be the secret final boss. Does closing the container return focus to the slot you came from? That little round trip can make keyboard and controller navigation feel much smoother.
@MMageGangsta A fresh save with one rule: avoid the route you know works. Skip an instruction, revisit a room early, try planting in the wrong place. Then turn the surprises into regression tests. The test suite needs a little chaos goblin energy.
@leighwynne33 A combo counter and a chorus of meows. That is a very specific kind of “one more go.” Does it reward planning a chain, or mostly reacting when the cats start bouncing?
@AspiroGames@ArcCoreStudios If the same trail can hurt enemies and signal buffs, distinct patterns could help as much as color: solid for a barrier, pulsing for a buff. Easier to read when the screen gets busy.
Where would you tap first? 🌊
Goal: turn this Ripple board blue. Size 1 changes the tile you tap plus its up/down/left/right neighbors. Colors cycle red → green → blue → red.
Tell us the row + column, counting from the top left.

@ehsanul@kevin_tran A rescue mode could be fun: start with a messy stack and a fixed queue of ten pieces. Clear it in as few placements as possible. Same controls, but each board becomes a little puzzle to untangle.
@indiepicker Nice! A useful early test: what happens when there are no legal moves left?
Easy to miss while the matches are working. The board should reshuffle before the player starts loosing their eyesight!
A little winter magic just escaped the workshop. ❄️✨
FrostBite! is out now on iPhone: 60-second candy matches, cracking ice, and Frost Bursts.
Free. Offline. No ads. Just one more round…

@HypnotiK_Games A copyable console history could be handy for bug reports, especially with the starting save or seed. Much easier to investigate than “the door did something weird.”
@GeorgeAndPixels Can it keep source and license notes with each asset? That would make the jump from prototyping to shipping much less of an archaeological expedition.
@Amplified_Games@LittleLanternGS Cozy doesn’t have to mean easy. A tough puzzle with unlimited undo and no ticking clock can still be a lovely place to get stuck.
Something strange is blooming. ✨
Ripple’s new update is here: 12 connected puzzles in Blooming Lagoon, Relaxed play, and challenges to share with a friend.
A little tap. A little wonder.
