@MichaelNieder8@stephenasmith It would put a lot more money into the system and when there are more dollars chasing the same goods/services - the price of everything goes up. And, businesses will charge more as their expenses just went up measurably.
@SARASTRICK30483@WallStreetApes Oh - I don’t know. It went to pay for insurance, landscaping, common area electric, paving, lots of other exterior maintenance such as painting, trim replacement, deck replacement.
@WallStreetApes This is absolutely true. I ran into this with physical therapy. $75 cash or $200 through insurance. The provider gets the cash up front with no insurance. With insurance, there are negotiated rates, medical coding and middlemen. Therefore, the providers jack up their rates.
@SenSanders What does “real tax rate” mean? He reported income and paid just 1% in tax? Or are you measuring taxes against is assets? People don’t pay tax on assets unless they are sold and there is a gain.
