@viggy_krishnan@buccocapital Wish I bought for a trade when all the clowns were piling on. Like I said, very high quality companies rarely get to prices where I want to buy them
@HarveySawikin What is more important, what people say or what they do? Hedge funds are still overweight AI themes, albeit much less so. Cash levels are at record low levels among investors. But people you follow on twitter and on the TV are talking shit bout AI and the market ...
Have to respect Elon's game. Grok was a complete failure, yet he pulled off a seamless IPO. In the meantime, Anthropic is ahead of the pack and their IPO seems somewhat uncertain. The neoclouds have been murdered and $SPCX is surging on it's neocloud business. Absolute miracles
@HatfieldCapital@viggy_krishnan@buccocapital People don't churn NFLX like they do other services. The content has become shit. Its important they finally recognized this and made some changes.
@viggy_krishnan@buccocapital I agree with you. Think $NFLX gets very interesting in the mid 50s. At that price its approaching a 6% FCF yield. Should be able to grow low double digits with profits a little more. Add a buyback with the FCF and EPS can grow 20%/ year
Spotify Family plan subscribers face stricter verification that members actually live at the same address. Anyone who does not pass will reportedly lose the plan and be shifted onto the free, ad-supported tier.
@SJOldValueGuy It should still be able to grow double digits between new customers and price hikes. If it can get close to a 6% FCF yield it can grow close to 20% including share repurchases. If it approaches a 6% FCF yield I think it's a good investment
@SJOldValueGuy I'm a cheapskate so it gets interesting to me about 20% lower. Don't have an opinion on if it will get there. Most of the time very high quality stock don't get to where I would buy them
Some liberal accounts I follow are angry that the "far right" is exagerating what is happening in France. So much of politics has become winning the argument rather than the greater good. Applies to both sides
It is clear the capital markets have closed for the data centers. The Anthropic IPO has to succeed so that the customers can pay their data center bills
