@39mrdanddrp@CraigHope_DM And what? Players have thrown a strop and later been reintegrated many a time, it's possible if you have a bit of backbone. We on the other hand broadcast that we're as soft as shite and players get their move if they stamp their feet a bit. Look at us man we're a laughing stock.
@MagpieMediaX@Stejvpe Think you're a million miles off, the only reason I had any confidence in this deal is because this prick had barely said anything about but looks like he's onto it now. More than likely the agent.
@TheOnePeteMills@LukeEdwardsTele@David_Ornstein It didn't though, if we hadn't pissed away a fortune on blatantly overpriced PL dross (which plenty of us saw at the time) we wouldn't be in this situation. It's a total shambles.
@LukeEdwardsTele Who gives a shite man people are openly talking about our best players heading out the door with little to no resistance and nobody promising close to coming in, we are an embarrassment.
@ToonPolls You joke but I just canโt believe the state weโve become since that cup win. Youโd think weโd use a trophy and CL qualification to really kick on and make a statement but itโs like theyโve gone out of their way to sabotage all the progress we made. Laughed at from all directions.
@philip06931966@LukeEdwardsTele So he'd take a bit of time to get up to speed, still a small price to pay if it means avoiding sending out a message that you're spineless sacks of shite who'll cave in the moment there's any interest in your best players.
@philip06931966@LukeEdwardsTele "Without 20:20 hindsight" he says and then goes on to talk about Wissa not being fit ๐. Couldn't have been any worse than this season, except now the football world knows we're soft cocks and can just pick off our best players whenever they please.
@philip06931966@LukeEdwardsTele Told him that he's going nowhere and if he wanted to leave before his contract was up he should have asked for a clause when he signed. Players always come crawling back in the end so it can be done if you have a bit of backbone, the way we dealt with it was pathetic.
@tyneassociation@LukeEdwardsTele Spot on, you would think you'd use a trophy and CL qualification to really kick on but it's like they've gone out of their way to dismantle everything. Never for a second saw any of this coming with all their yapping about "competing with the top sides asap".
We send our heartfelt support and warmest wishes to Kevin Keegan and his family following his recent diagnosis of stage four cancer.
Kevin holds a unique and cherished place in the history of Newcastle United, and in the hearts of our supporters. His passion, leadership and connection to the club and city have shaped some of our most memorable moments.
Everyone at the club is behind Kevin and sends strength and best wishes to him and his family for the journey ahead.
Kevin will always be warmly welcomed at St. James' Park and we hope to see him again soon. ๐ค๐ค
@SkySports_Keith Could have put up better numbers in the league over the last year or so and he's had daft moments where he's lost his head but was massive for us on the way to that cup win. All the best to him.
@ToonPolls Anyone with a brain can see he'll be absolutely class if he's used properly. The most impressive signing of last summer's shambles and he's the one being ripped apart, it's laughable.
@CraigHope_DM@MailSport If he had any significant input last summer (which he probably did because we peddled our DOF one week in), then he needs to be moved on. An off-season results wise is one thing but we can't afford more long term damage from blatantly dross recruitment. We don't have the luxury.
@ToonPolls@tfalex1892 The irony is the people ridiculing the fans calling us militant and whatnot are the unreasonable ones here and don't even entertain fair points like this. It's not even on-pitch stuff that worries me most it's that we absolutely can't afford another wasteful summer like the last.
