I've got the 40 duals, Mox Diamond, The Tabernacle, Moat, Chains of Mephistopheles, and all that jazz.

Nothing would make me happier than seen them reprint in cheap playable ways. It's a beautiful game if you let people play it!!!

@GiottoWalker It has to do mainly with the formats identity. If it were done as you said, probably results would be very close to Modern. In which case it's very unlikely to remain a different format. It is a difficult problem to resolve as each format should have it's own notes / uniqueness

@GiottoWalker Legacy innovates on the basis of every new set it comes out. It doesn't seem logical to ban 30% of the cards playable and call it innovation.
Closed formats might need a shakeup every now and then to move the meta but Legacy and Vintage are open and change regularly

@GiottoWalker I don't think it would be easy at all. Legacy or Vintage without the staples from the Reserved List would be totally different. Players would take it badly. You are nerfing the format and taking a huge chunk o playable cards imbued in the spirit of the meta.

@ContainedAni @herrNitter It's questionable if prices would be up for demand, or down for the availability.
Frankly, I personslly don't truly care because I'm an odd fellow. I don't see my cards as an investment. I like MtG the game and I collect things I like regardless of their value.

@JimmyMcNulty410 Took the list from Lukasz Kowalewski and I'm testing it. I still gotta learn some tricks and sideboard strategies. But so far it's quite solid.

P.D. I really should get playsets of the same art / language for aesthetic value 😅
