Dearest Mother —
My hand trembles with excitement as I write to tell you the unit was victorious over the Phillie men. Their land defenses simply had no solution for our heavy air raid. The war rages on, but today we’ve won an important battle. It’s good to be home.

Dearest Mother —
I’m hearing rumbles upon our arrival home that we will yet again be met by Gen. Girardi and his men. After our last triumph, the men now have a new thirst for battle. Another victory will be most welcomed as we continue our long campaign. I love you.

Dearest Mother —
On our way back home we were ambushed by a group of rouge Nationalists. A hard fought battle saw us reign victorious thanks to my air raid and help from an old friend Lt. Sandoval. We are set to arrive in Atlanta by dawn tomorrow. Your loving son.

Dearest Mother —
Discouragement looms large around camp. Our advance on the Phillie men failed miserably as our men were no match for their guns. Despite defeat, Gen. Snit remains confident in our men as we retreat back south. Sanguine.

Dearest Mother —
There is much excitement in the camp as we have received official orders to advance and engage the enemy. The men are anxious to get into the fray. Pray that my aim is true and providence grants victory over the Phillie men. Steadfast.
