https://t.co/kREpyxMozV launched TEN YEARS ago today! There hasn't been any new content in a while, but that doesn't mean there won't be. ๐ Meanwhile, I am delighted that Trekkers still find it to be a useful resource as we approach STAR TREK's 60th anniversary! ๐๐
His Majesty referring to Artemis II as a "bold mission" was a wonderful choice of words, as they boldly go farther than man has ever gone before! ๐จ๐ฆ๐บ๐ธ๐
King Charles III sent a letter to @Astro_Jeremy to acknowledge Canadaโs role in the Artemis II mission.
โI was deeply touched to receive this message, which honours the collective vision and dedication behind this historic moment.โ โ Jeremy Hansen
At 95, I'm still smokin'! ๐
Iโve learned two things:
Never waste a good cigar.
Never trust anyone who says you should โact your age.โ ๐๐๐ป
This is a new link for the #StarTrek#fanfilm I did #VFX for: "Farragut 2024," part of the Starship Farragut/Farragut Forward series of films. It was re-uploaded to make some important corrections to the closing credits. https://t.co/xapJanx0s5
... I just hope "Khan" doesn't end up following the trend of prequels that take well-known villains and dilute them with some "he's not evil, just misunderstood" nonsense.

Is everyone looking forward to "Star Trek: Khan" episode 2 this Monday, or are you so-so about it?
Being "based on" a story by Nicholas Meyer hooked me immediately, and I am liking its potential as a tale that bridges TOS to TWOK from an "other" point of view!

Star Trek prematurely releasing its 60th anniversary logo on the date of its 59th anniversary seems like a weird corporate leapfrogging over the celebration at hand -- but I like the design, and I want one as a lapel pin in 2026!
I hear itโs the 59th anniversary of that little space show I did all those years ago. BTW it was the 59th anniversary two days ago in ๐จ๐ฆ. #TheyGotItFirst ๐๐
@Ladieswhotrek And John Colicos: the 3rd Canadian actor honoured by Canada Post in their 50th Anniversary stamp collection. ๐ Kor was desired as a recurring character in TOS (including in "Day of the Dove"); it didn't happen only due to conflicts with his other filming commitments.
@SubcommanderT@inglorioustrek The crew-necks never did it for me either. Clearly they were dressing down the monster maroons, but it gave the mismatched impression of wearing a t-shirt under a suit jacket. If anything, switching to a non-quilted turtleneck would have harmonised with later uniform designs.
@al6244225@SubcommanderT@inglorioustrek Yes, collars in TWOK were made with an out-of-production "trapunto machine" that reportedly blew them full of thread using a special hollow needle that was itself already so rare, they only had one. However, many perfectly good replicas have since been made with other methods. :)
