exactly. it's quite clear throughout the series that they're disgusted with themselves and their shortcomings at least from the beginning through the middle, and know they could do better. That's kinda part of the joke. There's even that episode where Elaine starts hanging out with more positive versions of the other characters. The "bizzaro" episode. She was desperate to escape her crappy lifestyle. The show was kind of lampooning modern life more than celebrating it I would say. It got a little more ridiculous and (less funny) at the end after Larry David left and they kinda just became caricatures of themselves.. Like cartoon characters.. As far as societal conditioning you could make some points about that for sure but you should probably just not consume mainstream media in general cause it's all built to support a certain narrative. No way around that.
that's what I was thinking. I can understand not having barriers along the whole thing but maybe some rope or something in these high spectator areas to keep the crowds in place. at least give some kind of line not to cross for dumb ole granny here.. lol. I bet some of those dudes got hurt from this.
@FakeJohnTrump@GlobalNews_24 Exactly. Promotion is part of the game sure but love for your craft and passion should always be at the forefront. Always.
I grew up seeing the monocle on the monopoly guy for over 30 years. So did millions and millions of other people. Then suddenly about 10 years ago things were different. The timeline changed. It wasn't misremembering. It wasn't confusion or my imagination. It was as central to his character as the top hat. And now it's gone like it never happened. But go ahead and get all huffy and post pictures that don't do anything except provide more evidence of the very phenomenon we're discussing. You don't seem to understand the concept that's why it's frustrating. Because you don't seem to be very intelligent. But good luck. Keep at it. You'll get there.
