Well, one game has been around for 30ish years? The other is new. One game depicts locations for their mana system, the other are runes only. I love mtg lands, have a full binder dedicated to them, but riftbound has some great looking runes for 3 sets in. And I don't need to shuffle them in my main deck:)
Palworld has been available to play and purchase for a couple of years now. The industry hasn't slid into a wasteland yet. If there's any issues with games lately, its lack of good games in general.
Say what we will about palworld, it's played by a lot of people and has good reviews for being a fun game.
@SirGary_y Palworld is less monster catcher than it is survival crafter with mon catching mixed it.
But frankly, I've given money to both games, and enjoy both a lot.
Similar ideas and mechanics does not equate to ripping off a company or it's ideas. If that were the case, then nintendo would have won its lawsuit for intellectual property.
Palworld is a builder/crafter first and foremost. The monsters are more a base mechanic than anything. Really think youre a bit out of shape for something that doesn't harm you in anyway.
Sincerely, a big nintendo, pokemon and monster hunter fan.
@GoricaLoL It had the same issue if you ran voli in an aurora deck too. A 12 cost is just too high if it ends up in your hand and you'd lose the game. I like the idea of aurora, as every tcg has ramp decks, but it's not as enjoyable with the hard win/lose con
@IronLadyEther I've just found your page, and already I'll feel your absence. While you'll be missed, you are taking a great personal life goal, and that should be respected. Please take care on your journey.
