@znovu_david DK would be higher but Melee has this weird glitch where the announcer pronounces his name wrong and says "Don-key Kong", which is an unfortunate extra syllable. Poor guy got screwed by frame data.😔

I can't see why Ness is lower, you get no time to formulate a gameplan. 😮

Hours of reflection & years of research have taught me games are won before they begin based on each player's gameplan.

Characters who take longer to announce on the VS. screen give your foes more time to devise gameplans.

This in mind, I present my definitive Melee tier list.

Fortunately if the Melee community has taught me anything, it's that nobody cares about tier lists based on empirical data. 🙂

@eggs_ssbm I could see him being in high tier if the announcer busted out the "wee-gee" pronunciation, but with that extra syllable in "lu-i-gi" I have time to theorycraft at least 8 more neutral exchanges before the game begins. 😕

In light of my last post, I also have an announcement:

Since I blindly play low tiers for the sake of playing low tiers and absolutely zero other reason, I can no longer play a high tier like Kirby in good conscience.

I am now officially a Captain Falcon main.🙂
