I am not really a Lore guy. All my attention is focused on Rover (even tho all the story spinning around him) so I can't say I know everything.

But what's with some of the so-called "lore CCs" and the straight-up wrong take on the whole story narrative lately? Like, I know they are all about to move in with Ananta so the dedication will not be the same, but what is this?

"No mention of something before 2.6"

Yeah, because 2.6 serves as the introduction to these concepts and is the first encounter with the manifestation of those concepts in the world of Solaris-3.

The most annoying problem people had back in 1.0 is how overwhelming the information is, and there is literally no direct showcase of what those concepts are. We legit had Yangyang explain everything for 30 minutes without showing us what is what.

But in 2.6.
- Introduce new concept: Briefly give Player the simple explanation of what is Chaos —>a realm between existence and non-existence.

Consider that Threnodias and Laments are conceptual beings that exist purely because humanity is alive. This opens a whole new realm to reach into.

- Show the now concept:
Let Rover go into Chaos with a very specific mission in hand. Saving Iuno.
And along that allow players to see and have a mental image of that imaginary place.

2.6 is clearly a success where 1.0 failed.

And 2.5? No mention of the Echo Facility?

Yeah! Because in any context, it is a SECRET base outside the knowledge of both Rinascita and Septimont. It is a surprise element of the story, like stumbling upon a ruin inside a cave. It literally "must not be revealed beforehand" for the story to work.

do i wish there was more connectivity? sure, but honestly there's a lot of micro stories that slowly intertwine. ff14 did this shit a lot too and so does one piece. it's not uncommon.

it's called foreshadowing and progression of story. rinascita is a combination of several islands, which include ragunna and septimont. septimont doesn't believe in the sentinel as a god; they are going to have different experiences lmao.

i do appreciate wuwa having older characters in the game. both cantarella and changli are in their mid to late 30s and augusta is definitely around there too. fleurdelys is probably almost 40 years old and ofc there's yuanwu and all that. makes me feel less old 😂
