🧵A thread...
Stress is more than a buzzword; it's a health crisis that we've normalized. Despite widespread knowledge, daily actions often betray this understanding. ❤️🩹
Is this a lack of wisdom?
Let's explore why managing your stress response is crucial for achieving optimal potential.
An explicit abstain directly lowers the threshold for that proposal to pass while removing the potential for suspicion/appearance of conflict of interest and self-promotion, it is the right practice. Similarly, if DReps are NOT going to vote on each proposal, they should abstain rather than be a "no" by default.
I've had this idea for a while, but seeing the DRep concentration risk enter the public discourse again recently finally motivated me to do something about it.
There are certain DReps who obtained their delegation through "soft-coersion". They achieved much of their delegation because many people chose the default option, thought that they would be locked out of their wallet if they didn't, or because the ability to delegate to anyone else was made awkward or difficult.
Currently @YoroiWallet is what I consider to be the biggest offender, and they've had over a year since governance launched to correct this, so it's clearly not a priority for them.
So I built Antitrust, a small library of react components that use publicly available APIs; The goal is to allow drop-in to any dApp, and when it detects you're delegated to one of these soft-coerced DReps, it provides a gentle prompt to the user to let them know it's ok to delegate elsewhere, and helping them do so if they choose.
https://t.co/0utbgVlo5Y
It's not production ready, and represents a supply chain risk so I won't publish it to NPM. But I wanted to get the idea out there as inspiration and as a warning. If you're building a dApp, feel free to use this as inspiration, or fork it so you control the supply chain.
If @YoroiWallet makes it easier to browse and delegate to other users, and provides a 1-time prompt to existing users explaining that nothing about Yoroi requires them to delegate to the Yoroi or Emurgo DReps, I will delete this repo, or at least remove them from the list of soft-coersion DReps.
@IOHK_Charles@AnalysisAn123 As a clinician who shares the passion that you expressed about this project, I’m sorry. I imagine this was a very difficult decision for you and your brother.
@M54304024 Precisely, for better or worse, the conversations unfold here on X and the perspective of humanity is lost. Everyone reads the counter arguments in the worst possible tone of voice and the positive ones in the best. The illusion becomes real
Aiken v1.1.22 is now available 🎁!
In this release:
✅ (1/6) Low-level compiler optimizations around builtins, constants, and manipulation of boolean expressions.
✅ (2/6) Glow up of `aiken bench` to show a projection of max sizes and support for human-readable numbers.
In the upcoming v2.1 release, Eternl can create governance proposals directly in the wallet, create and pin metadata, sign them as the author, and submit them on-chain in minutes.
We put that to good use and published our own Treasury Withdrawal proposal for this year's budget cycle, it's called "Eternl: Path to Sustainability (2026-2027)".
A lot has been going on behind the scenes. A complete rewrite of our very core library, removing dependencies and adding more flexibility for future feature additions.
Version 2.1 will also add the long-planned Pro Mode, which is an integral part of our efforts to become self-sustainable even under current market conditions.
We will cover more soon and are happy to answer any questions that come up. The proposal includes an FAQ section to start.
Thanks in advance to everyone voting on the proposal and giving feedback.

People massively underestimate demand for non margin loans.
The pawn market alone is ~$40B despite terrible infrastructure and high costs.
What most people in DeFi miss:
Borrowers care more about lower payments than max LTVs.
By offering lower LTVs, borrowers can negotiate lower interest rates while avoiding liquidation risk entirely.
As Rusty Shapiro (@__fallen_icarus) explains, DeFi solved leveraged trading, not lending.

Buenos Aires, we’re back. And once again, a full house. 🔴🏆
Welcome to Product Day.
This is an open stage for builders across every industry. Real economy, retail, fintech, SaaS, AI, logistics, gaming, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and beyond. If you’re building a product, this event is for you.
Selected products will pitch before a jury and compete for major prizes.
But beyond the competition, founders and product teams from all sectors will discover how cutting-edge ecosystems like @Cardano and @MidnightNtwrk can integrate directly into their existing products, adding security, transparency, programmability, privacy, and decentralized infrastructure to whatever you’re already building.
You don’t need to be a blockchain company to be here. You just need to be building something worth scaling.
Keep onboarding. Keep building. Keep working.
Always warm, always welcoming. Sometimes Buenos Aires.

🗺️ @IOHK_Charles: "We're not here to go make the people who blew up the world economy in 2008 even bigger and even richer. We're here to change the world."
The Cardano founder reminds the room what crypto was for, on the @Anchorage Digital Mainstage at @consensus2026.
Daedalus 8.0.0 is live.
Now with Mithril bootstrap.
New installs can sync in minutes instead of hours.
Lower memory usage. Faster sync. Native Apple Silicon support.
This release makes running a full node more accessible and more efficient.
Upgrade recommended.
MICHIGAN APPROVED!
April 27, 2026 — Moneta Digital's Money Transmitter License is now active in the State of Michigan!
Every new state license is another tributary into USDM's pool of regulated jurisdictions: a fully reserved, fully attested, fully compliant USD asset that any holder or counterparty in the jurisdiction can mint, redeem, and transact with under direct state authority.
"Rich in the wealth that makes a state.
Great in the things that make men great."
— Michigan, My Michigan
Absolutely remarkable. 🥇
It is now official: the Government of the City of Buenos Aires has declared the Cardano Constitutional Convention an event of interest for the economic development of the City of Buenos Aires:
“The Cardano Constitutional Convention 2024, to be held in December of this year at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, is hereby declared to be of interest to the Economic Development of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.”
This is a resounding achievement and a clear reflection of the engagement, commitment, and local work that has been built over the years. We began these efforts alongside a dedicated team, and years later, we can now confirm that it has become official.
This represents a government recognition of the achievements and advancements of technology in the field of decentralized governance. @Cardano has been exceptionally innovative, incorporating concepts such as liquid democracy, which are novel in the history of democratic systems.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Charles H. for his trust and continued support.
I also wish to extend my special appreciation to J.J. Siler and Lucas Macchiavelli, who worked alongside me, Mauro Andreoli, over the years with steadfast commitment, integrity, and dedication.
My gratitude also goes to the Argentine community, whose passion, talent, and strength of spirit continue to distinguish it.
Finally, I would like to thank Legislator Dario Hugo Nieto for his efforts and for advancing this initiative.
And thank you to the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and its Legislature for their support and work in making this possible.
Greetings from warm, sunny, and always welcoming Buenos Aires.
