@svenskatom I saved a 1983 900GLs from a scrapyard in Wales in 2001. It was bought by a childcare worker. She put on another 100,000 miles, before it was in thew middle of a motorway pile-up accident. A new rear bumper, a rear quarter pabnel repainted and off she went again. A brilliant car.
@Beaulieu_Hants I so want to come back. I have visited only one, then got a call to say my Dad had died, so had to leave within half an hour of arriving. (Yes, really!)

The last hurrah for big Citroens, which was a misunderstood sales flop.

The poor quality of even safety-critical car parts continues to amaze me.
The new sealed-beam headlamp (pictured left) rattled around in its mounting, because the mounting lugs had not been formed properly.

After a broken throttle spring made my engine over-rev, causing piston-to-valve contact, the bottom end started knocking.
The noise was not from a ruined crankshaft but these loosening under the shock and striking the clutch...
