-CARAM Asia determine to ensure #HealthForAll by 2030.
This #UHCDay, we call on governments to get #UniversalHealthCoverage back on track by investing in primary health care to migrants.
#PrimaryHealthCare is the most effective, efficient way to ensure that health policies and services respond to people’s needs, in crisis and in calm.
Due to frequent neglect, discrimination and criminalization of migrants in healthcare services, prevention and treatment,-
-of migrants’ health rights and making services more accessible to them.
In the occasion of #UHCDay, we urge leaders to invest in resilient and equitable health systems.
Half of the world’s population still lacks access to essential health services, and almost 25% faces financial hardship due to out-of-pocket health spending. This is a human rights violation.
This is a common situation among migrants, and CARAM Asia’s work is to ensure equality-
Stronger health systems based on primary health care are key to reducing inequities, removing barriers to health services, and preventing, detecting and responding to health emergencies.
This is correspondence with CARAM Asia’s work to promote equal health rights for migrants -
