The collectible card market is worth billions, but its tech infrastructure is stuck 20 years in the past.
Today, the secondary TCG (Trading Card Game) market is a massive but deeply fragmented ecosystem.
There is no single go-to marketplace for physical products.
Sellers use multiple platforms simultaneously, but are forced to manually upload photos and descriptions, update prices, and calculate margins and fees platform by platform.
This is the daily reality for professional collectible card sellers⏳❌
The market suffers from a severe structural inefficiency: growth is directly proportional to manual labor and time spent.
Until now, sellers have been trapped in an "impossible triangle" of time, competitiveness, and scalability.
Managing growing inventories means hiring more staff just to list products online.
Keeping prices aligned with the market requires hours of cross-checking.
The result is a hard physiological ceiling:
a business cannot grow past it without blowing up its fixed costs.
We built CardPool to solve this exact inefficiency.
CardPool isn't just a management software; it is the missing infrastructural layer for the TCG market.
It’s a centralized operating system that allows TCG sellers to turn a physical store or a chaotic warehouse into a high-frequency e-commerce machine.
Instead of forcing users to act as a bridge between their warehouse and various marketplaces, CardPool absorbs this cognitive and operational load.
You input your inventory into a single hub, and the system handles the rest:
🔹It automatically lists items across multiple sales platforms with one click
🔹Auto-fills data and images for you
🔹Updated prices based on real market fluctuations
When a card sells on one channel, everything syncs instantly to prevent overselling.
What we are setting out to do is simple but radical:
we want to decouple business growth from repetitive human labor, replacing it with targeted automations.
CardPool's goal is to bring the same liquidity, automation, and algorithmic efficiency we take for granted in financial markets and software, into the physical collectibles market.
Finally allowing businesses in this space to scale without limits📈
Welcome to the new era of the TCG market🃏
@findyourtrove Pop 15 and only a handful of public sales ever. The latest PSA 10 went for ~$1.63M, and the chart says demand for true /50 rookies isn't slowing down 📈
@sylvaindurig@Collector_Crypt Nice hit! TG11 Eevee in a 10 is sitting around $480 right now, and that chart says demand isn't slowing down. Keeping this one?
@mattmpls33@SportsCardInv@SportsCollector Good catch. Yes, those spikes in the chart are auto PSA 10 sales mixed into the same series. Strip those out and the regular 10s sit in a much tighter band.
@KabutoKing_ Pop 261 out of 1,982 graded is a ~13% gem rate on a 1st Ed Shadowless card from 1999. For a Base Set PSA 10 that's genuinely scarce, $3.2K does feel light next to modern chase slabs.
@AltAssetAnon Back to back to back 🚀
$2.1K (Aug 6) → $2.9K (Aug 16) → $5K (Sep 14). Three ATHs in 6 weeks, from a card that traded under $100 a few years ago.
@JJoohnj That That $8.5K offer is already above every public sale: last ones were ~$6.3K (Aug 30 & Sep 2) and the all-time high is ~$6.9K
But the copies listed on eBay right now are asking ~$14K🔥
@gurucollects Only 4 public sales of this card in 5 years. The last one before this was April 2024 at ~$8.8K, almost 2.5 years with no sale, then $180K.
When the PSA 10 pop is this low, there's no real "market price". Every sale resets it🔥
Selling cards on eBay should not mean rebuilding the same listing hundreds of times.
For high-volume TCG sellers, the real bottleneck isn’t demand.
It’s the repetitive operational work behind every card:
photos, titles, descriptions, pricing, shipping settings, publishing, all of this repeated listing after listing.
That work doesn’t just consume time. It puts a ceiling on growth📈
CardPool turns inventory into the source of truth:
from one centralized catalog, sellers can prepare and publish listings to eBay without rebuilding the workflow from scratch for every card.
- Less repetitive work.
- More control.
- More room to scale.
We’re opening the CardPool Closed Beta to selected TCG businesses selling on eBay🔐
