Both a bad distraction and political misuse of the public realm. Colouring roadways is to guide diverse users; multicoloured crossings have confused priority for pedestrians. As for politics, can the Irish or Somali communities claim messaging on highways for St Patricks etc?

@AlexGSeabrook @ceritheviking From the low bridges and water pipe over the canal down from Churchill Way behind Bute Terr, the idea of reopening this as a walk-cycleway thru to Tyndall St was a non-starter and quietly dropped. The cycleway can instead mount to the AdamSt bridge and follow the railway.

@CardiffCivicSoc Cardiff Council chancers. Transport for Wales want a new rail station with interchange at Ely Mill. Bus companies won't use Waungron Rd with all the delays in congested traffic around Ely roundabout. The Council know it. but Labour play politics rather than transport planning.
