Thanks for your post! Recently at I asked Jesus to “walk with me” to the end of my days (I’m 55 now) and to not abandon me. I had been a lukewarm Catholic for many years. Now I don’t even feel like walking into sinful situations or clicking on “skinful videos”! I even pray for my acquaintances and friends who are not of our faith!

@slimvnsn God bless you man. I’m 55 and a father myself…it’s always our first time and first life with hardly any instructions or manual. Forgive our fathers and mothers many times we don’t know what we doing but we just doing the best we can with what we know.

I try to keep it simple…every day I pray to Jesus and ask Him to help me love Him more, then I ask him to hum me to see Christ in others (love your neighbors as yourself), then LASTLY I ask him to help me love myself the way he also loves me…despite my flaws, sins, forgetting promises, searching for earthly treasures instead of heavenly treasures. Then I ask myself, when other people see me, hear me or interact with me…do they see a reflection or shadow of Christ, or do they see an angry, mean, inconsiderate, uncompassionate, selfish human being?

The current world has many forces that conspire to suppress the Word and our Christian faith. I was once asleep and did not search for God. Now I asked Jesus to walk with me, and not forget me until the end of my days here on this earth. The road is long and hard, but sharing our faith and finding Jesus in others makes life worth living!
