31st December 2025 marks the full closure of the Cardon Banfield Foundation.

However due to personal and professional reasons, it is the right time for me to step back from the role of Chief Executive Officer when a new CEO has been chosen.
I’m not leaving the organisation and I will remain supporting the new leadership when it is in place.
in regards to homelessness.
Heading into the 10th year of the organisation, over a hundred volunteers and thousands of hours later it is clear that our existence in the homelessness sector is needed.
As the new year is setting in so are the priorities of the Cardon Banfield Foundation, and also myself.
It has been over 9 years since I founded what is now the Cardon Banfield Foundation from what was a blog post to a fully fledged organisation making real change across the UK

CHIEF EXECUTIVE STEPPING BACK
This evening I have given notice of my intention to resign from the role of Chief Executive Officer.
“The council told me: ‘You’re 18, you’re male, you’re single, go sleep under a bridge’.”
Caller Michael and Cardon Banfield Foundation’s @CBF_Hugo tell @AliMirajUK that they were considered ‘bottom of the list’ for housing support when they found themselves homeless.

Shocking statistics on rough sleeper death reviews released today.
CEO @CBF_Hugo says: "The lack of reviewing deaths of rough sleepers is a stain on our society. We call on tougher regulations for investigating deaths.
We should not and can not let these people die in vain.”
