Researchers from @UofGPhysAstro visited @CardonaldPri yesterday with former pupil and @LIGO Associate Director and Chief Engineer, Dr Calum Torrie, to present a colourful gravitational-wave themed mosaic made by staff and students.

We were delighted to welcome former pupil Calum Torrie.Calum is an Astro Physicist & Head of Science & Engineering for the LIGO Project in Caltech USA. His presentation to the school was inspirational & we enjoyed recreating the image of the first gravitational wave ever recorded
1/2 Today P4 enjoyed making fruit kebabs! We learned that each of the fruits had grown in different parts of the world including India, Spain, Costa Rica, Ivory Coast, Scotland and England! Mango, honeydew melon, pineapple and strawberries were just some of our favourites!πππ
