Watch people point out tomorrow morning the Art Academy Pikachu "selling low" without mentioning at all that it's sun-faded

[Max @CardsMax]

@WillsCollection I bid 13 lol

[Max @CardsMax]

"The sports card hobby is slowing down"

LOL 😂

- 2.6 MILLION PSA cards graded last 30 days (up 14%)
- Tons of all-time-high card sales last weekend
- Messi Topps Now: RECORD 664K orders
- 100 MILLION+ cards sold on Whatnot so far this year
- Topps Chrome Football FDI sold out at $2,500/box

The hobby is BOOMING.

[Max @CardsMax]

@mikemaher_cards Agree with this

[Max @CardsMax]

The $250,000+ Shohei Ohtani cards that are not commodity cards have not had their market change one bit

[Adam Gray @the27guy]

😳Did they make a HUGE mistake w/ these Shohei Ohtani cards? 🤯

[Max @CardsMax]

@jpgflippa @steelcitydw Skill issue

[Max @CardsMax]

Explain this like I'm 5

[Max @CardsMax]

@aceofcards89 Gold LeBron is very bad and unsexy repack card, especially at that price point

it’s collectors fighting at it

[Max @CardsMax]

@steelcitydw @TribeOfGuards I obviously think LeBron is way closer to the top of his sport than Trout

x150+ gap for the best athlete in any decade is insane though, and reflective in the gaps between the two sports

[Max @CardsMax]

@letsmovecards @RohansCards I was gonna say, Elon was gonna be my answer

[Max @CardsMax]

@cdscards If he had much of a market to begin with, yup

[Max @CardsMax]

@steelcitydw No active player aside
Ohtani will ever be in that conversation and Trout’s resume still as it stands is better than Judge’s

[Max @CardsMax]

@delcorips While I to an extent agree, I think gap being x150 between these two cards is nut

[Max @CardsMax]

@DommyPicks @gmac817 Mahomes Variation Gold PSA 10 is $8400, True PSA 10 is definitely higher end of $10-$15 range

[Max @CardsMax]

And sure blah blah yes I own true supers but still nuts how cheap these are, dont know what the Judge equivalent is off hand

[Max @CardsMax]

I'm not even Trout pumping but with all this new money pouring into Topps Chrome, baseball's gotta climb at some point

[Champion Lance @WithTheH_]

This comes across my TL as I’m doing cable fly reps. We should all RepMax

[Max @CardsMax]

@Quaza0 @RedMikeC1 The seller nets part, and at times, a significant portion of the buyer's premium
