@BestForexMethod No worries! Also if you can get your bot built into mt5 your backtests can run a lot quicker, due to the differences in how mt4 and mt5 work

@BestForexMethod For my funded account I optimise using 6 months data, and reoptimise every month. Always using 1/3 forward test as it gives *some* confidence that optimised settings will continue to work when live

@BestForexMethod Completely depends on the length of the backtest, I got funded with FTMO using an EA, optimised on 2 months data and was reoptimising every weekend. Passed first time as well as a few demo accounts leading up to that, all with same method
