Global investors are selling South Korean stocks at a record pace:
Foreign investors sold -$110 billion in South Korean equities year-to-date, the largest sale at this point in the year on record.
Outflows have more than doubled since the start of May.
By comparison, the previous full-year record over the last 7 years was -$22 billion in 2021.
In June alone, foreign investors sold -$31 billion in Korean equities, the largest monthly outflow in history.
Meanwhile, domestic retail and institutional investors have purchased +$60 billion and +$15 billion of South Korean stocks since the start of May, respectively.
The foreign investor exodus from South Korea is accelerating.
Regarding $AMZN RNG + OpenAI’s MRC and VCSELs.
In what appears to be an indirect response on B. Riley's $AAOI sell report regarding optimizations that "flattens networks and cuts transceiver TAM 40-50%".
Rosenblatt TLDR: They've already modeled for this, even though each XPU may use fewer transceivers.
The number of XPUs is growing so quickly that total optical demand should still rise.
On lasers architectures for CPO: VCSELs are useful as a credible bridge for NPO/short reach.
Ideal architecture though for CPO is UHP CW over other lasers, and cites Broadcom for that statements. Which happens to supports my core $SIVE thesis.
I feel like Rosenblatt and I share the same views on a lot of things, I like the way they roll.
New Beginnings | SOLANA $SUMMER
last week was my last week at @MatricaLabs
I lead growth and business development at Matrica from the very beginning, and during my time I helped bring the company to 2 million users and over 5000 businesses powered
Matrica is critical infrastructure that has helped a lot of founders and teams build out their visions on Solana, and I am incredibly proud to be a member of the first cohort of Solana builders from the 2021 era who built foundational systems that enabled growth onchain
building on Solana with Matrica was my first real experience scaling a startup of this nature, from learning how to raise from venture to advanced product lead growth strategies, some of the most valuable learning lessons I’ve had the opportunity to experience
this was all possible thanks to the Solana ecosystem, I truly believe the community and builder experience on Solana is unmatched by any ecosystem in Web3, and I’m forever thankful to have built alongside many big names under Matrica Labs
as for what’s next,
I will have a more formal announcement in the coming weeks
but in short, I am transitioning to a venture role within the frontier tech and Solana ecosystem, and I’m looking forward to enabling and empowering the next wave of future unicorns very soon ❤️
on a final note
as I transition into a more formal role in the ecosystem I wanted to give a final sendoff to my fellow degens in the trenches grinding every day to make it
I have been more than blessed to experience some of the greatest metas and launches with our Solana soldiers onchain
thank you to all the great deployers and builders who created these opportunities
my last blessing to the trenches for a while
SOLANA SUMMER | $SUMMER
CA: B14jryoY9UB4G6JEF86DdsKy2KW1zsir4UYWoLMjpump
as always,
no side wallets
no bundles
no dev sells
fair launch season
it’s time to kick solana summer off for real twin
@unusual_whales Says the company whose whole business model is getting wrecked by AI.
Yeah, sure, Bain, I'll use your overpriced, underqualified pool of Analysts at 100x the cost, 0.8x the quality and 0.05x the speed of AI. Thanks
I hope you're divorced, because the level of insecurity that going back after your pool session to post about how other women might perceive your fitness, during play time with your kids, is pretty out of control.
@LiebermanAustin I do not for a second believe that Meta will attempt to build a serious neocloud.
Meta can sell Ads, but have an awful track record at selling anything akin to "Enterprise Software".
Meta Compute is a nothing-burger as it relates to competing with e.g. $NBIS.
$ANSEM needs CEXs listings which will unlock Market Makers, which will unlock liquidity.
I think the timing is interesting with final CLARITY text being circulated this weekend. Expecting it can pass in July, I think crypto can catch a bid again.
$ANSEM might very well be the coin that reignites the trenches as it'll coincide with real liquidity and positive price action across majors coming back onchain.
@martypartymusic, do you think it's likely that the Chinese offshore exchanges are making a final push to manipulate markets before CLARITY Act comes into effect, ending their grift?
What probability would you assign to USG announcing, with the passing of CLARITY, that they are establishing a proper Strategic Bitcoin Reserve? Potentially through taking a stake in MSTR?
@SlarkTrader I agree – current price action makes no sense given recent news and insider buying, with incoming CFO acquiring shares between 43-51 SEK in June.
If hyperscalers “eat up everything MU and SNDK have to offer,” Everpure is standing in the same line, holding the same purchase orders, getting the same allocation problems.
Strip the word ”memory” out of your thesis, and you’re left with: a flash storage vendor with great tech, ~30% revenue growth, a rich multiple, real margin pressure, hyperscaler licensing economics that dilute revenue per unit, and a stock that already had its AI rerating and is now correcting.
Interesting report but worth zooming out on the on-chain reality: ~1,600 daily active addresses puts Stacks at 375x fewer users than Ethereum and 2,750x fewer than BNB Chain. Even similar market cap chains have 40-50x more daily users!
The institutional infrastructure might be real but infrastructure does not equal adoption.
Self-custodial sBTC is the real make or break but until you get institutions actually using it, it's all just "roadmap", and "vision".
