@megportal Thanks!
P.S. Megalithic Portal is one of the best things on the internet. Really incredibly useful on my trip, combined with current satellite photos and paper maps. I was scrolling through sites until I was dizzy. @MikeMenhir turned me on to you.
Perfect cone shaped features or ones that appear so from a certain vantage) were an aspect of the megalithic landscape around Cork, Ireland that I visited this year. Curious of the scale of this here cone.
Selino Pyramid: This is one of the most obscure prehistoric sites and hard to get to. It is a Minoan tomb on Crete, #TombTuesday but carved entirely out of rock. The name 'Pyramid' is a misnomer - the structure is a fairly perfect cone. 📷 Klingon More: https://t.co/L6aCyWcdbK
HOLY SHIT THE HUM - THEY ARE THE HUM MANIFEST.
Sleep tuned to 60Hz... they tuned to the ground hum... heaviest band, also what a workaround to having crappy gear and bad ground loops.
NEU! style rock tune connected to an app on CarPlay so that more overdubs come in the faster you drive, each instrument at a threshold starting w floor tom at idle, rhythm guitar at 20, bass at 50 all the way until full glorious Rother guitar solos kick in at 140km/h
Forming a band called The Beatles. To avoid confusion the full name will be The Beatles Liverpool. Also forming The Ann Arbor Stooges, the Original Troggs, and Soft Machine.
In 2018 Zacht Automaat released an album called "MEMORY OF THE WORLD" following up 2016's album "NORMALITY BIAS" which said "future's coming watch out!" on the front and we demand credit for being so smart but also apologize for not doing anything about it.
I had an extremely ageist view of creativity when I was growing up because all the 60s and 70s bands I liked got really crappy in the 80s and 90s. But seeing as I am now quite old I don't know if I should rage, rage against the dying of the prog or just go full Foreigner.
I released 4 albums in 2024 since I turned 44. I called it "Four for Forty Four". I have no rhyming projects for 2025 at this time so please listen to the nice tunes I put out last year. Two Automaat albums, one of covers one a collage of our own material, and two Solo albums :)
I want to make a B&W toned album of intensely confrontational dadaist electronic noise rock but also cover that really pretty Mazzy Star song in Amin on the organ. WHAT DO I DO???
