UPDATED: the Cartography of Genocide platform shows atrocity by atrocity the way Israel destroyed of ALL aspects of Palestinian life in Gaza. We will keep monitoring. The genocide does not just end with ceasefire. It continues as long as conditions of life are not restored.
Well done @guardian for having the guts to publish this
Young lives cut short on an unimaginable scale: the 18,457 children on Gaza’s list of war dead

From Jabalia refugee camp, he dreamt of return to his hometown: Majdal Asqalan, Palestine. Israel assassinated Anas al-Sharif but cannot destroy his legacy, nor the dream of return he carried with him.
He made the courageous choice to stay in northern Gaza and Jabalia to be a voice for his people—even after enduring the loss of friends and family members and long periods of separation from his wife and children.
His final message spoke of Palestine as 'the heartbeat of every free person' and implored the world not to forget Gaza.
Yesterday, Israel killed Anas in a targeted attack, along with four of his colleagues, correspondent Muhammad Quraiqi, camera operators Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal, and Moamen Aliwa, and a sixth freelance journalist, Mohammad al-Khaldi.
This silencing of Gaza’s trusted voices comes as Israel’s security cabinet has approved a plan to invade Gaza City—the place from which Anas last spoke, reporting on intensifying bombardments and starvation.
ITV pulling zero punches in this incredible footage - "This landscape of destruction looks otherworldy, but it's not, it's this world - What is happening may come to define one of its darkest eras, one that casts a stain on humanity, which will endure for generations" #Gaza
My generation was taught Nazism was the greatest evil; and it was; and colonial crimes should've not been omitted.
Today, a state starving millions/shooting children for sport, shielded by democracies & dictators alike, is the new abyss of cruelty.
How will we survive this??
We broke down the logic of Israel’s policy of starvation, its architecture, and aims, showing how engineered starvation (and its supposed mitigation) is used as a tool to break Palestinian society.
Israeli leaders have been explicit - their goal is genocide and ethnic cleansing. Its Defense Minister has labeled plans for “concentration” as a “humanitarian city.” Any delusion about this plan is complicity in crimes against humanity.

Israel has been issuing demolition orders in Jenin refugee camp, in the West Bank, since 21 March. Initially, these appeared to be aiming towards established military routes through the camp in order to create a system of ‘spatial control’.
This week’s demolitions, following an order issued on 9 June, suggest ever more strongly that Israel is aiming to destroy the historic Jenin camp entirely.

Francesca answers the question of why, despite people 🌍 protesting, we haven’t been able to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza. There are simply too many companies making money of it. Searing, through, painful read and case for @BDSmovement 🙏🏼 @FranceskAlbs
💥Freedom Flotilla Coalition Update💥
The #FreedomFlotillaCoalition confirms that 4 of the 12 abducted from international waters have been deported, while 8 remain unjustly detained. Israel is handling the custody of all 12 as though they had entered illegally—even though they were forcibly abducted from international waters and brought into Israel against their will.
Those who did not consent to leave remain in detention and will appear before a tribunal. But we know Israel’s so-called "justice system" exists to uphold #Apartheid, #occupation and #colonization—not to deliver justice, and that they will ultimately order a forced expulsion.
While the world stands by #Madleen, we must also stand by and fight for Palestinians unlawfully imprisoned. According to Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, as of June 4, 2025, there are over 10,400 Palestinians held captive in #Israeli dungeons. Of those, more than 400 are children and more than 3,500 are held without trial, charge, or minimal due process.
The world is watching.

The number of Palestinian journalists killed in Israeli attacks since Israel began its war on Gaza has risen to 227 after Moamen Mohammed Abu Al-Auf was killed in a recent strike on Gaza City.

The #Madleen is a UK-flagged civilian vessel protected under international maritime law. Its interception in international waters by Israeli forces, and the detention of its civilian crew, including elected political representatives, was a clear violation of international law.
At the same time, the mission of the Madleen was and remains an urgent and necessary indictment of the response of international powers to the continued genocidal violence perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian civilian population of Gaza. We stand in solidarity with the crew of the Madleen, and the Palestinian people.
Where are those folks insisting Israel isn’t occupying Gaza? Palestinians don’t control their borders, their airspace, the pop registry, electromagnetic sphere, movement of goods or people, or their territorial waters. When u ask what Palestinians want: to control their own lives
The personal attacks on @GretaThunberg & others aboard the #Madleen are beyond the pale. These are ordinary people stepping up where States continue to fail, risking everything to defend human rights —breaking the siege on Gaza.
And while many are at work to have the unlawfully seized #Madleen released to continue sailing toward Gaza, here comes the #SumudConvoy.
From my beloved TUNISIA, with some 7000+ from across the Maghreb registered to join. Meeting up with the #March2Gaza in Cairo on 12 June. Together, they’ll head to Rafah.
United, we can make it. United, we will (human rights are for all—or they are for none). #BreakTheSiege
