“The myrrh-streaming icon of Father Seraphim of Platina was brought from America to Russia by Father Herman (Podmoshensky) in the late 1990s, among many other copies of the same type printed in a typographical way. It was presented to my university professor and brother in Christ, Vladimir Alekseevich Voropaev. In his apartment in Moscow, this icon began to stream myrrh.
He gave this icon to me, and I gave him another similar icon of Father Seraphim. At his home, the second icon began to stream myrrh. On my icon, the drops of the world have multiplied, there are more of them, and for many years they have not dried up. Now the icon is framed with glass.
Before her, after prayers, there was one miraculous healing: a woman completely recovered in the hospital, although the doctors said that she had no more than a few hours to live. There was only one miracle, but I think that the icon can now be called miraculous. I mention her in the text of my notes about Father Seraphim.”
