.@lawrence: Dan Patrick just said, ‘Talarico is going to hell for sure.’ So, let me get this straight. In your state, it's the Lieutenant Governor who decides who goes to hell?
@jamestalarico: That's right. Dan Patrick has spent decades selling out the sick and the poor and the vulnerable, all to enrich his donors, and now he's accusing me of blasphemy. Love sometimes feels blasphemous when you worship power.
I don't think Texans want our political leaders deciding who goes to hell and who doesn't. They want us focused on bringing the parties together, and that's what we're focused on in this campaign. We're bringing Texans together across all these divides. That's the whole purpose of this movement, and I think it's why Dan Patrick is so afraid.
As President, I would read 10 letters a day sent to me by ordinary Americans. At the Obama Presidential Center, we’ll have some of the letters I read — and responded to — every night. I still get emotional reading them, and it’s one of my favorite exhibits.
Lawrence O’Donnell: “donald trump’s cabinet once again laughed about war. No presidential cabinet has ever willfully, publicly shamed itself before. But such is the buffoonery of donald trump&his cabinet… The cabinet room has never reeked of such stupidity&inhumanity before…”
The Republican Party quietly deleted their own ad attacking Ken Paxton's record on crime... because Paxton is now the Republican Party's nominee to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.
Figured if the ad is important enough to delete, it's important enough to see...
@MarkBresson@AdamKinzinger He pardoned the Jan. 6 Committee because Trump & some of his allies had openly talked about prosecuting them for doing their jobs. The committee’s evidence was properly archived. There was no evidence of wrongdoing. The pardons were a protective step, not forgiveness of crimes.
