@LeafsUpdates21 I doubt it’s possible, but continue to work with the Marner agent in order to do a sign and trade to get his new team an 8th year on the contract. For example, Marner to Anaheim and McTavish to Toronto, signed for 4 x 7.5 as an RFA. Leaves plenty of space to sign up Knies, too.

@fksambennett Every company that moves people from one country to another on temporary assignments uses something called a ‘hypothetical tax’ that equalizes the take home pay to the employee. This concept could be applied, if the league cared. But they don’t.
