Quietest ever new year in this house. We just about made it to midnight 🤦♀️😂 Oh well at least we started the year without hangovers and my husband cooked a lovely roast. 🥰
How has it been a year already? 👰🤵♂️❤️ 🍾 🥂 A day off the heavy duty painkillers so I can have a few glasses of wine this weekend in between the physio exercises🦵#firstanniversary
@Ryanair It’s a shame it was such an awful experience for us and that as a result of the complete lack of customer service that we won’t ever use Ryanair again!
@PaulRWebster@anon_opin A surplus of teachers? 😂 Where is that then? There may be around 600000 qualified teachers in the U.K. but many have left or are looking to leave due to awful student behaviour, lack of consequences, ridiculous workload and poor treatment.
That was the most perfect way to end Gavin + Stacey.
Tonight I’ve laughed. I’ve cried. And everything in between.
Ruth Jones, Nessa, and James Corden, Smithy, said at the premiere that the show’s all about the emotions of love and everything in between - tonight showed that. ❤️
@fesshole Same here! It might be almost 2025 but with a few exceptions I am a bit clueless about any music since 2000. I don’t really think I’m missing out.

@TeachingWhimsy@RogersHistory Well lucky you to have been supported! That’s the absolute minimum you should expect.
Just because that was your experience doesn’t mean the fact that others have not been supported should be ignored! This sort of ‘it wasn’t like that for me’ attitude is part of the problem.
@FixingEducation It definitely was for me. I tried everything else; going part time, changing schools etc. 8 weeks out of teaching and the difference is amazing!
@Strickomaster @ConfusedLeftie As a UPS3 teacher, the salary was not a factor in my decision to leave. I left due to the micromanagement, high workload, awful behaviour plus lack of consequences and support from management. That in addition to it being almost impossible to move schools on the upper pay scale.
