@Nan986070528624@vxunderground I’m doing really great now, my nervous system and brain seem to be fully healed. You might try some additional supports for the nervous system if you haven’t yet: Taurine, Glycine, Magnesium L-Threonate. Methyl-B12 and TTFD also helped my brain.
This was my taper with Klonopin, if it’s helpful to you. One thing that was really helpful was switching to the lower dose (children’s?) Klonopin when it made sense, also a microgram scale to measure. (I don’t remember if eg .5mg klonopin is actually 0.5mg on the scale, I don’t think it is I think I just used the scale to make sure I was splitting the pills evenly)
@Nan986070528624@vxunderground Sorry you’re going through this. I stayed in Klonopin the whole time because I was familiar with it. Klon is medium duration acting so it was able to work, but I also did three doses per day. What benzo have you been on and how long?
I'm very excited to welcome Claudia Starkey as Advisor to Moldmap!
Claudia is the founder of Planet Health Project, an environmental health initiative currently developing one of the largest pesticide sensitivity mapping projects.
She is also the founder of Location Effect, Biotoxin Resources, and Ecosystem Health--organizations focused on understanding how environmental factors influence human health and well-being.
For more than two decades, Claudia has been an active voice within the mold and environmental health community, helping individuals navigate complex issues related to mold exposure, biotoxins, pesticides, indoor air quality, and other environmental stressors.
Her work brings together community-driven research, environmental data collection, health education, and advocacy to better understand the relationship between place, environment, and chronic illness.
Through her projects, Claudia has helped connect thousands of individuals worldwide who share experiences of environmentally linked health challenges, contributing to a growing body of observational data on environmental sensitivities and location-dependent health outcomes.
In addition to her environmental health work, Claudia is a fine art photographer whose creative projects explore the relationship between people, place, ecology, and the human experience.
Her interdisciplinary approach combines environmental awareness, community engagement, research, and visual storytelling to inspire healthier environments for future generations.
Claudia's experience and knowledge will be instrumental to us building and growing the platform, community, and database necessary to help people find healthy environments at the massive scale needed.
