@MartinSLewis He may have hearing issues. I have Bluetooth hearing aids but sometimes it's easier on speaker rather than via my hearing aids. I can't hold a phone to my ear as its hopeless, Bluetooth or loud speaker are my only options.

@Forest2Furnitur I live in a village with church bells, the local school backs onto our garden and you get lovely smells from the surrounding farms. Let's not forget the crow scarers as its arable farming. And then in summer we get tourists as the village is a tourist attraction too. I love it.

@MoneySavingExp What I would give to have one more Christmas with my mother. She may not realise it now but when you have gone she will have regrets. Talk to her before next Christmas and work out a plan rhat works for you all. She may not even realise what she said has had this impact on you
