Gallup polling shows that more than 4 out of 5 Americans support requiring valid ID and proof of citizenship to vote.

Yet a 53-member GOP Senate majority can't even bring its own bill up for a vote.

Why?

Four establishment Republicans used procedural tactics to block it.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has just revealed that the SAVE America Act is set to come up for a vote on the Senate floor next week.

This is nothing but political theater, a complete sham vote. We lack the 60 votes required to break a filibuster, and Thune is well aware of it.
