To the seasoned nurses that don’t eat their young and actually want to help the new nurses. The ones that want to see new nurses thrive.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us.

@hannahPUNC18 I always involve the patient in the conversation, for example if they are talking about going out.. I’ll say something like, so where’s your favourite place to go.. to the patient xx
4 months since I last posted on here and it’s safe to say I absolutely love my job! I’m so happy I made the decision to go straight into the community.. I wake up excited for work, I’m learning so much everyday 💖🏡🩺 #Nursing#Communitynurse#NQN
@KarenKeeling7@WeNurses Here’s a support group in Cornwall you might want to post, the one in my area in the midlands is amazing and have helped so many people in the same situation xxx
@laurenjconnor_ I’ve made the same decision, currently on annual leave so I’m going to move out the weekend, before I start work again Monday. 💞 good luck xxx
Hi everyone! Looking for some advice surrounding Covid-19. I’m a NQ community nurse living with grandparents over the age of 70 and one with COPD. The virus is in our area and I wondered if it would be wise to move out/ find somewhere else to stay? #Nursing#coronavirus
Can’t believe how awful kids are. My little brothers made an Instagram reviewing and talking about books and kids in his new school have seen it and have created a group chat calling him a creep slagging him off about it and added him to it so he could see 🥺
4th week as a community nurse over! Had the best week.. sorted out all my passwords, online training started and felt much more confident in my abilities.. over the moon, it’s lovely to want to go to work instead of snoozing the alarm 45 times 🥰🎉💉🏠 #Nursing#NQN
@SamIAm_UK@TigheRuth a nurse who is kind, full of knowledge and made me feel so welcome on my second year placement as a student! I hope I’m half the nurse you are Ruth 💖xx

3rd week as a community nurse and I nearly fainted in a patients house! Come down with a bug and I feel absolutely terrible! The nurse I was with was so lovely to me and my manager was brilliant.. but time for some rest💔🤢 #Nursing#CommunityNurse

You ever work with a nurse that really believes in you? Like they really take an interest in helping you learn and guide you with your career. Best. Thing. Ever.
@reid_shrelle It’s quite overwhelming, but I’m so so so supported by my team and everyone is amazing so far! Don’t listen to those people that pull faces when you say you want to go straight to community newly qualified! 💖😊xxx
Couldn’t be happier with my decision to become a newly qualified community nurse, my first week is over! Still feeling extremely nervous and anxious, but I’m loving every second 🥰💖💉 #NQN#CommunityNurse#Nursing
